The Bartonville Town Council is pleased to announce that after an extensive recruitment and interview process, a new Town Administrator was selected. The Town Council unanimously voted to extend an offer to Mr. Thad Chambers, who accepted the role and began on June 13th.
Chambers, who most recently served as Economic Development Director for the Town of Haslet, has more than 15 years of municipal service and considerable experience working with Councils, Boards, and Commissions. He holds the Certified Public Manager designation from Texas State University, and several other related certifications. Mr. Chambers’ municipal experience spans communities with populations from 1,700 to 65,000, and thoroughly understands the importance of embracing what makes each community unique.
Mayor Carrington and the Bartonville Town Council have clearly conveyed the importance of maintaining Bartonville’s character and Mr. Chambers will work diligently to assist with protecting and preserving the Town’s vision.
Mr. Chambers is excited to begin this role and looks forward to serving the Mayor and Town Council. He hopes to build great relationships within the community, with both businesses and residents. The Town will provide details at a future date regarding an opportunity to meet the new Administrator.
