Household Hazardous Waste Program
The Town of Bartonville has partnered with HHW Solutions to provide our residents with a free curbside collection program to discard of Household Hazardous Waste once a month - click here for Bartonville Collection Day Date
HOW TO REQUEST PICKUP
- Make sure all items are labeled (unlabeled items will not be collected)
- Schedule a pick-up by completing this simple online form (click here) or by calling 972-440-2040
- Do not mix chemicals
- Flammable liquids must be in container approved for transporting flammable liquids
- Make sure all items have spill-proof lids
- Make sure chemicals do not spill, leak, or mix
- If original container is cardboard or paper, place item in labeled plastic bag
- If you have several small items, place them in a labeled box no larger than 20” x 14” x 14”
- Leave item on your front porch, near front of house or at your gate on collection day
HOURS OF PICK-UP: All items MUST be placed outside on your doorstep/gate by 8:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day and will be collected between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
ITEMS LIMITED PER MONTH
Fluorescent light bulbs: Max 8
Used motor oils/antifreeze: Max 2 gallons
Paints: Max 4 gallons
Pool & Household Chemicals: Max 4 gallons
Household Cleaners; Pesticides & Fertilizers: Max 8 items
Household Batteries: Max 20
